Actress-model Hazel Keech and Yuvraj Singh got married at a gurudwara in Chandigarh on November 30 and pictures from the festivities have been posted on social media. Here are photos of the bride and groom in their wedding attire and the two of them at the gurudwara. Yuvraj and Hazel were colour-coordinated in deep red, courtesy J J Valaya couture. Hazel looked regal and distinctly different from a traditional bride in her scarlet lehenga with antique-style embroidery. Yuvraj complemented her in a sherwani with elegant motifs, paired with matching pagdi and jooti. Yuvraj and Hazel’s Sikh wedding took place at Dera of Baba Ram Singh Ganduan Wale in Duffera, Fatehgarh Sahib. Yuvraj and Hazel’s pre-wedding ceremonies included a sangeet and mehendi in typical Punjabi-style and were held on Tuesday. Security was tightened around the gurudwara for the wedding, which was only attended by close friends and family.
The wedding ceremony will be followed by another Hindu wedding in Goa on December 2. A post-wedding sangeet and reception will be held on December 5 and December 7 respectively in New Delhi.
In conversation with wedding planners ShaadiSaga, Hazel said: “Chandigarh has been kept very Punjabi; Goa has been kept a little more western with that hint of Mauritius and Delhi is kept as desi as it can be. People have Alice in Wonderland themes but we definitely don’t.”
